While staying with my friend Ayesha for a couple of days in Kentish Town she showed me this gorgeous building at 66 Falkland Road. Former pub The Falkland Arms has been converted into flats, including living space in the old cellar.

I love the old pub sign, the lamp above the door, the downpipe railings and the Farrow & Ball-like green. It’s also a lovely lesson in tasteful net curtains – halfway up the window, hooked onto brass rails.
