The 1940s tea dress

We went for a walk this morning foolishly thinking that warm weather had arrived in Buckinghamshire. I left the house without tights for the first time since about September and was soon chilly in the unexpected wind.

This beautiful tea dress is real 1940s and is in great condition. I bought it a few years ago from a really good dealer at Ollie Vee’s Vintage Emporium in Leighton Buzzard for about £40. It has short sleeves and a tie at the back.

What I’m wearing:

1940s tea dress – Ollie Vee’s, Leighton Buzzard

Leather jacket – Barney’s at Asos

Bag – charity shop

Brogues – Pied A Terre

Ankle socks – Tesco (kids’ section)
