Fashion volunteers needed!

My local thrift store, the second-hand haven at the old bus station in Milton Keynes, is looking for volunteers to help with its stock. The shop raises money for The Buszy, Milton Keynes’ community centre for young people and new home of local retro club night Dollar Shake. It’s a really good shop for dresses, knitwear, coats and jackets, comics and home ware. If you fancy it they said…

Our Thrift Shop is run by volunteers, and we are always looking for people who can spare a couple of hours every week to help us rasie money for Make a Difference.

In particular we need people who are a bit handy with a needle and thread.  In the shop we rework and upcycle clothing and material we get donated to the Thrift Shop which other wise would be discarded.

We turn boring old clothing into new and fashionable items, making unique and on trend garments people can come and buy from our shop.

If you are into customising clothing, stitching, sewing machines we would love to hear from you!!
